This policy explains what information the Pit Coffee website handles, why it is used and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
When you submit a contact inquiry, we collect the information entered in the form, such as your name, email, phone number, preferred location, organization, timing, guest count and message. When you join the Coffee Club waitlist, we collect your name, email, optional phone number and preferred location.
Website analytics and advertising
On the public Pit Coffee domain, Google Analytics and Google Ads may process device, browser, page-view and interaction data—such as location selections, order clicks, calls, directions, reviews, chat use and successful inquiry submissions. The private test site is configured not to load these Google tags.
AI chat
Messages sent to Ask Pit Coffee are processed by OpenAI to generate a response. The assistant can make mistakes. Do not share payment card details, health information or other sensitive information in chat, and confirm allergy or ingredient questions directly with store staff.
Ordering and payments
Online ordering and checkout open on Square. Square handles order and payment information under its own privacy practices. This website does not receive your full payment-card details.
How information is used
We use information to respond to inquiries, manage requested services, send Coffee Club launch updates you asked to receive, protect the site from abuse, understand website performance and measure advertising results.
Service providers
We use service providers to operate the website and its features, including ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare for hosting and database services, Google for analytics and advertising, OpenAI for AI chat, Square for ordering and Resend for transactional email when enabled. These providers process information according to their agreements and policies.
Retention and security
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, business records, security and legal obligations. We use access controls and other safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may avoid the AI chat, use phone contact instead of the online form and opt out of Coffee Club emails through the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. Browser settings and Google’s advertising controls may provide additional choices for analytics and advertising cookies.
